Lalala...lala-literally?

Have you ever found yourself curious about that new CD, but hesitant to buy it for fear that the hit song is the only one worth your time? I mean, you can listen to a 30-second preview on iTunes, but the ambiguity of that snippet doesn't always convince your wallet.

Enter lala. You can listen to any full song once and you can purchase the music if you like it. Just like iTunes, you can make purchases on a per-song basis or of the entire album. Either way, you still have two choices: buy the Web version or the mp3 version. If you're the kind of person who has internet access all day long, the Web version may be for you. Songs go for a measly 10 cents (or less) apiece and are available to you any time you log into your account with lala. Or, if you'd like to be able to take it with you, buy the music in mp3 form at iTunes-competitive prices.

So go ahead and lala your heart away. Sign up for an account and you automatically get 50 credits, redeemable for 50 free Web songs.

[Thanks, Marc, for the tip onto Lala.]

UPDATE: You can also embed a player for the songs you've already purchased directly into facebook, myspace, blogger, twitter or you can embed the HTML (see below).
